Birthdays are a great opportunity to get friends and family together to celebrate, and what better way than a weekend in the country.
Our client asked us to find luxury accommodation suitable for a group of 14, and to plan a weekend to remember for her December birthday.
Accommodation
We were asked to find a house in the country no further than 3 hours from London, and after much searching settled on a property on Wilderness Reserve.
Wilderness Reserve is a collection of properties on a 5000 acre estate in Sibton, Suffolk. For a group of 14 Clockhouse and interconnecting Barn was the perfect set up.
The four en suite bedroom Clockhouse, with its clock tower and Georgian proportions, provides light-filled living spaces all wrapped around a central private gated courtyard, whilst the Barn provides three additional bedrooms and has a wonderfully cosy vaulted sitting room with comfortable armchairs and day beds.
Catering
Our client wanted to self cater the majority of the trip to keep costs down, however on the Saturday she wanted a catered 3 course meal.
We booked Alex Chef, an East of England based caterer, that worked with us and our client to create the perfect winter feast.
In addition to finding a chef, we also arranged a food and wine delivery for the group and booked a local pub, the White Horse Inn, for lunch after a long walk.
